2025-2026 Guidelines on Nursery (K1) Classes Admission Arrangements

Distribution Period

1. The EDB continues using the "Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission" as the K1 registration document for the 2025/26 school year.
2.  From September to November 2024, parents must apply to the EDB for the "2025/26 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission " (hereinafter referred to as "RC") for their children. The "RC" will start accepting applications in September of this year. At that time, the EDB will announce the application details and the details will be uploaded on the EDB website (https://www.edb.gov.hk/en/edu-system/preprimary-kindergarten/kindergarten-k1-admission-arrangements/front.html)

1. Acknowledging the school's philosophy and purpose
2. Interview performance
3. The matching of the applicant’s age and the vacancy
4. The applicant with sibling(s) currently studying at our school will be given due priority consideration
5. The applicant from families with special social needs will be given due priority consideration

1. Interviews will be arranged by our School for all K1 applicants 
2.  Interviews will be held in 9th November 2024 and notification letters will be sent to parents separately
3. Group and individual interviews will be arranged.
4. Parents must accompany their child for the interview
5. Parents and children are allowed to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend to facilitate communication in the interview. If you need interpretation/translation services, please notify the school at the time of registration.

Announcement of Admission Results

We will inform parents of the K1 admission results before 13^th December 2024 by post. 

Registration Arrangements

1. Successful applicants: Parents should come to our School to complete the registration procedures at the specified time during 2^nd to 4^th January 2025 (“Centralised Registration Dates”)  and must submit the original "2025/26 RC" and pay the registration fee.
2. Applicants on the waiting list: If the school still has vacancies, the school will notice applicants by phone or mail individually. Parents should come to our Kindergarten to complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by our school, and submit the RC / AP and pay the registration fee.
3. Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit valid registration documents on the specified registration dates, our School may not be able to complete registration for the child. Hence, parents must apply for the relevant registration certificate to the EDB within the specified period.
4. The registration fee for the 2025/26 school year is HK$1,570.  If the child concerned studies in our School, the registration fee will be refunded in September 2025. However, if parents decide to change school after registration, please notify our School in writing. Our School will return the relevant registration certificate but the registration fee will not be refunded. Upon obtaining the registration certificate, our School will no longer keep the school place for the child.
