The school is named "Tai Hon Fan Nursery School" in memory of her beloved husband, Dr. Tai Hon Fan, thanks to a generous donation from Mrs. Tai Yip Sau Ying. The school is one of participating schools of the Kindergarten Education Scheme of the Education Bureau and offers a whole-day programme for children aged 2-6. Apart from providing quality early childhood education for local residents, the school also facilitates parents who work in the Central and Western District to bring their children to and from school, thus providing them with peace of mind and time to spend with their children.

Purpose
